  • We are again collecting funds to pay school fees for Lucy Miracle Bugembe, a very needy child in Uganda.


    Your child can bring an offering to class any day of VBS.  At the Friday evening closing ceremony, we will take donations and have a free entry to a drawing for each VBS participant as well!


    Please pray we will reach our goal of $500 to support Lucy's next year in school - she'll be in 3rd grade!


    All donations will be matched by a generous donor!

    Donations are tax deductible and upon your request a receipt can be mailed to you for tax purposes

  • Come Friday night at 7pm to see and hear what your children learned, hear memory verses and songs and have some ice cream! We'll have our annual slide show which you don't want to miss!

    The Promise of a Rescuer

    Memory verse: Psalm 100:1-3 - Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

    Key Themes/Scripture Text - Genesis 1-3

    •         The triune God is the one true King and created all thing
    •         Adam and Eve chose to listen to Satan instead of God and became slaves to Satan and sin
    •         God promised to send a Rescuer to save his children from their sin so we could be together with Him
  • It is T-shirt painting day so please come in clothes that can get messy


    Jesus has Power over Everything

    Memory verse: Isaiah 41:10- Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

    Key Themes/ Scripture Text - Mark 4:35-41

    • Jesus is God's Son, the Lord and Savior
    • Jesus is Strong and mighty; He stopped the storm to save his friends
    • Jesus is the Rescuer sent from God to save His people

         

  • It's Water day with a Slip n Slide - please wear a swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel if you'd like to get wet


    Jesus Conquered Sin and Death

    Memory verse: Philippians 2:9-11- Therefore, God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Key Themes/Scripture Texts - Matthew 26:36-27:54, Matthew 28, Luke 23-24

    • To rescue God's people, a sacrifice had to be made
    • Jesus lived a perfect life, and was crucified to save His people
    • Three days later, Jesus conquered sin and death to rescue His people

     

  • Memory verse: 1 Cor 15:57 - But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ

    Key Themes/Scripture Text Acts 9:1-30

    • God rescued Saul from hating Jesus and his people
    • God rescued the believers in Damascus from imprisonment and death
    • God rescued many people through Saul going to many places to preach the gospel. He rescues people today through missionaries sharing the gospel
  • Memory verse: Philippians 4:11-13- Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

    Key Themes/Scripture Text - Acts 27-28

    •         God called Paul to travel on three missionary journeys to share the Good News with others.
    •         God was with Paul when he was persecuted, punished, and locked in prison for teaching about Jesus.
    •         God rescued Paul and everyone on the boat by telling Paul what to do and say

  • NCPC VBS 2022 is for children ages 4 (by Nov 1, 2022) - entering 5th grade
  • Cost: $60 / child
  • 9am - 12pm (July 18 - 22)
  • Daily schedule includes Worship, music, Bible lessons, crafts, outdoor play and snacks
  • Activities will take place both indoors and outdoors
  • Parents, family and friends are invited to attend a closing ceremony at 7pm on Friday July 22nd
