  • We are again collecting funds to pay school fees for Lucy Miracle Bugembe, a very needy child in Uganda.

Your child can bring an offering to class any day of VBS.  At the Friday evening closing ceremony, we will take donations and have a free entry to a drawing for each VBS participant as well!

Please pray we will reach our goal of $500 to support Lucy's next year in school

Donations are tax deductible and upon your request a receipt can be mailed to you for tax purposes

    Learn more about UCSP here:

For more information, or to donate online, please visit http://ugandachildrenssponsorship.blogspot.com/

  • Come Friday night, July 21 at 7pm to see and hear what your children learned. Our VBS band will lead us and the children in worship songs.

You'll also get to hear each class recite memory verses. After some fun ice cream treats, we'll have our annual slide show which you don't want to miss sharing in some of the fun we had with your children while attending VBS.

Invite your friends and family to join us as well. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on the lawn in our outdoor amphitheater.

Pray about supporting Lucy Miracle's school tuition of $500. All week, we're collecting monies in support of her and the Uganda Children's Sponsorship program. We'll have a raffle of fun items for those who choose to donate and help us reach our goal.

  • Arrive at 8:50am, meet your teachers on the patio and sign your child in on the clipboard for the fun to begin! See you soon!

Focus for the day: Faith to Follow God's Plan - Noah

    Scriptures: Genesis 6-9

Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Faith challenge / obstacle for Noah: God told him to build an ark, but there was no rain

What work and obedience did Noah do with the Spirit’s help? Built the ark and gave him the courage to go into the ark and this saved him from the flood

Seeing Jesus provide a better way than Noah: Jesus provided a way as the Savior by coming to earth to be with his people and lived a perfect life

  • Focus for the day: Faith to Trust and Obey - Esther

    Scriptures: Esther 4-9

Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Faith challenge / obstacle for Queen Esther: All the Jews in Susa were to be killed and Esther needed to go plead with the king to see if he would change his mind.

What work and obedience did Esther do with the Spirit’s help? Queen Esther planned a banquet for the King and her enemy Haman. There she told the king her and all the Jews would be killed because of what Haman had planned.

Seeing Jesus provide a better way than Esther: Jesus our mediator and advocate stands in the gap for us. What can our enemies do to separate us from God’s love?

  • Focus for the day: Faith to Believe God's Promises - Mary

    Scriptures: Luke 1:26-2:20

Memory Verse: Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Faith challenge / obstacle for Mary: Become the mother of Jesus with the appearance of being unfaithful to her betrothed husband

What work and obedience did Mary do with the Spirit’s help? Humbly accepted the role she was given as the mother of Jesus.

Seeing Jesus provide a better way than Mary: Jesus came to earth as a humble King, lived a perfect life, showed us Himself as Lord and served his friends and enemies.

  • Focus for the day: Faith to Repent and Give our Lives to Jesus- Samson

    Scriptures: Judges 13-16

Memory Verse: Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Faith challenge / obstacle for Samson: Take the lead in delivery Israel from the hands of the Philistines.

What work and obedience did Samson do with the Spirit’s help? After his sins and he was captured, he trusted the Lord to help him destroy the Philistine leaders in parallel with sacrificing his life. He was still used by God even with his sin.

Seeing Jesus provide a better way than Samson: Jesus willingly went to the cross and Jesus’ death paid the price and provided eternal salvation for God’s people.

  • Join us tonight, 7pm for the Closing Ceremony! Come hear about the week of VBS and celebrate God's Faithfulness together.

Focus for the day: Faith to Share the Good News of What God has Done- Peter

    Scriptures: Matthew 13:16-20; John 20:1-10; Acts 10:34-43; Acts 12:1-11

Memory Verse: Psalm 119:11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Faith challenge / obstacle for Peter: Called to be a leader of the early church and teach many about what he had seen Christ do.

What work and obedience did Peter do with the Spirit’s help? Share God’s word, escape from prison, continue to grow in his faith and ultimately gave his life for Jesus.

Seeing Jesus provide in a better way than Peter: Now that Jesus is reigning in heaven, God has given each of his children the Holy Spirit to guide them each and every day
