Ministry Location: Tijuana, Mexico
Personal and Professional Background: Bradley is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary. He supports himself primarily as a Spanish interpreter in the San Diego County Court system, and Faith Promise giving helps to cover some of his travel and ministry expenses
Ministry Focus: Bradley focuses on teaching and preparing men for leadership in the local church. He was happy to ordain three deacons in Tijuana in April 2006, and is now focusing more on teaching men’s groups in Systematic Theology and Defending the Faith.
Prayer Requests: Bradley asks that we would pray for men in Tijuana to take an interest in learning theology, and that they would be willing to take the place of leadership in their churches and communities.
NCPC connection: Bradley is the Associate Pastor for Missions and has been involved in NCPC Community Groups and Men’s Bible Studies. He works primarily with Dios Con Nosotros church in Tijuana, which is a sister church of NCPC.
Juan and Martha Arjona
Ministry Location: Escondido, CA
Personal and Professional Background: Juan grew up in a Presbyterian family in Mexico. As a young man he got involved with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship and ultimately became Regional Director for the North of Mexico. He studied Civil Engineering in the United States and completed seminary training at WTS in Escondido. He and his wife have “a passion to always serve God and love their neighbors, glorifying Him in all they do.”
Ministry Focus: Juan is the pastor of Misió n Vida Nueva, a church planting project of the South Coast Presbytery of PCA
Prayer Requests: Juan requests prayer for Misió n Vida Nueva, the development, of the church planting movement among Hispanics, and for the transformation of people by the Gospel of Christ.
NCPC connection: Former NCPC Pastor Dave Eby encouraged Juan to create Misió n Vida Nueva, the first Hispanic Church Plant in the South Coast Presbytery.
Dave and Darlene Eby
Ministry Location: Kampala, Uganda
Personal and Professional Background: Dave and Darlene serve in Uganda as second-career missionaries.
Ministry Focus: Dave teaches at Westminster Theological College and serves as the Director of Development for Westminster Theological Seminary . He also mentors pastors and students and preaches at churches around Kampala. Darlene is the Registrar at WTC, serves as Administrative Assistant to Emma Kiwanuka, the Dean of WTC, and teaches, counsels, and mentors women.
Prayer Requests: God’s anointing, the Spirit’s power and much fruitfulness for the above named ministries. Personal prayer life to be strong and Kingdom-focused. God’s provision of students He has prepared for the harvest to enter two new academic programs that will begin next semester, God’s provision for the development of the new campus for the College and Seminary
NCPC connection: Dave started NCPC in 1985 and was the Senior Pastor for twenty years.
Emma and Allen Kiwanuka
Ministry Location: Zana - Kampala, Uganda
Personal and Professional Background: Emma is an ordained minister, a teacher, and a graduate of Westminster Seminary - CA
Ministry Focus: God has called Emma and Allen to disciple and equip men and women for the works of ministry. He is a pastor who loves preaching and church planting. Emma is founder and dean of Westminster Theological College – Kampala.
Prayer Requests: 1. My family's education: My wife and children are all in school. 2. College expansion: We will soon need funds to build and move to a bigger campus. 3. Scholarships: For some of our students cannot afford the training.4. Leadership development: For the newly planted churches here.
NCPC connection: Emma says, “I do not have enough words to express what NCPC means to the work that I am part of in Uganda. Out successes are yours too, we share the joys and sufferings together."
Bruce and Pam Sinclair
Ministry Location: Kampala, Uganda
Personal and Professional Background: The Sinclairs served as missionaries in Mexico for one term and helped plant two churches. Bruce pastored two churches in the U.S. and planted and pastored a third.
Ministry Focus: Bruce and Pam would like to live in Uganda for the next twenty years, Lord willing. They believe Uganda is poised to reach the rest of Africa for Christ, and feel honored to be part of this exciting Great Commission task. One of the biggest challenges this year has been severe and frequent power outages, which affect their ability to work on the computer and communicate. The Sinclairs are very encouraged to see that most of their students at Westminster Theological College Zana have a hunger for the Word of God and an eagerness to grow in Christ.
Prayer Requests: The Sinclairs request prayer for a God-ordained church planting movement to ignite and spread throughout East Africa. Please also pray for the couple’s wisdom and strength, and also for the development of the new WTC campus.
NCPC connection: Through Project Uganda, and Pam is administering the Uganda Children’s Sponsorship Program in Africa.
David and Eowyn Stoddard
Ministry Location: Berlin, Germany
Personal and Professional Background: David studied at King College in Tennessee, and then earned a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in California. Eowyn is the daughter of MTW missionaries who served in France. She met David while pursuing a Master of Arts degree at Westminster.
Ministry Focus: In 2000, David and Eowyn joined MTW’s Team Berlin. Their focus is on beginning a church planting movement aimed at reaching and discipling East Berliners. David is now the team leader for MTW in northeast Berlin, and is also involved in training future church leaders at the Martin Bucer Seminary.
Prayer Requests: 1. Pray that East Berliners would come to Christ. We have been blessed with contacts over the past years, but we long to see people come to know the King. 2. Pray for more leadership from Germans. 3. Pray for the humility in all we do, for more co-workers, and for boldness in prayer and evangelism. 4. Pray for the spiritual protection of our marriage and children
